Histology

The Histology Special Interest Group meeting has come and gone and on behalf of everyone who attended, a very big thanks to both Elvin and Robyn for organising a great couple of days and providing a very friendly welcome to the event. A big thanks must also go to all the presenters without whom these events just aren't possible. The Rydges hotel was very nice, the food great and and for those that couldn't attend the conference dinner or the conference itself, check out the photos by clicking the 'Previous HSIG's' button below. The presentations of those who gave their consent for them to be displayed on this website can also be found under 'Previous HSIG's'. At the forum that was organised (which for an early Sunday morning after the party the night before, was quite well attended) it was agreed that the SIG meetings would be limited to just one day and probably from a Saturday lunchtime to a Sunday lunchtime allowing people the Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon to travel to the venue - however this may need further discussion as the time for the next event draws near. It was also agreed that the venue would alternate between both islands each year. Next years event will be held in the North Island possibly in Napier. The Auckland crowd will be organising that event.
